Galapagos

Nowhere makes me feel as small as the Galapagos Islands, where days are spent encountering animals that exist nowhere else while being humbled by rugged landscapes that show the recent geological touch of Earth’s internal workings. Each of the images below captures a moment of my awe in the natural beauty of the archipelago, from the joy of dolphins breaching triumphantly out of the water to the sculptural silhouettes of marine iguanas. I hope these images inspire the importance of protecting the islands’ ecosystems, as they do for me.
